Volunteer Drivers needed in Qualicum Beach

ree

The Canadian Cancer Society’s Wheels of Hope program is looking for two more volunteer drivers specifically in Qualicum Beach. If you, or someone you know is looking to fill some free time, enjoys driving and wants to support people living with cancer, we encourage you to volunteer.

What are the requirements to volunteer?

  1. Availability within Monday to Friday – ideally a half day per week or a few days per

month, ongoing for at least six months. The program is very flexible and will

accommodate vacations and other personal commitments.

  1. A valid driver’s license with three or fewer demerit points and access to a 100%

smoke-free vehicle.

  1. Willingness to complete a criminal background check and provide references.

Become a volunteer driver and offer the gift of a meaningful ride to people with cancer.

Mileage reimbursement or a charitable tax receipt is provided.

It’s easy to sign up. Visit www.volunteercancer.ca and choose Wheels of Hope Program.
